CALLING ALL FILMMAKERS (aspiring ones, too!)

11th Annual Thin Line Fest, April 18-22, 2018, Denton, includes True Texas Travel Experience category with $5,000 in prizes

Your invitation to the thin line, “the space where Art meets Truth.”

Texas Highways magazine, in conjunction with Thin Line Fest, are giving filmmakers, of all experience levels, a chance to turn their love for Texas into an entry in the film festival’s newly established True Texas Travel Experience category.

Thin Line Fest is a one-of-a-kind festival that combines the best of modern media to create an engaging, multi-layered experience that appeals to all.

The True Texas Travel Experience short documentary category (up to 10 minutes) spotlights authentic Texas travel experiences through traditional documentaries, mockumentaries, docufictions, docudramas, travelogues, or any other films that celebrate the people, places, and wide-open spaces that define the Lone Star State.

We challenge filmmakers to visit their favorite Texas destinations, and bring it to life in under 10 minutes for the big screen at the Thin Line Fest.

Along with bragging rights, the winner will collect $5K in prizes, too.

Along with the new True Texas Travel Experience category, filmmakers are submitting entries for Documentary Features and Documentary Shorts. The categories are open to any type of documentary, on any subject, of any length, shot on any format, and completed in any year.
