Mondell’s Film BEAUTY IN THE BRICKS Returns to West Dallas

“BEAUTY IN THE BRICKS changed my life. Now it will change others.”
Olinka Green

In 1982, Olinka Green was 12 when she first saw Beauty in the Bricks. The film sparked something within her.  When she was placed in a shelter for the homeless, the film gave her hope.

“Just this resilience and optimism about the future expressed by these girls in BEAUTY IN THE BRICKS  inspired me  It made an impression  that there is a strong love for home, regardless of where home may be. Like a first kiss, the first taste of ice cream, it stayed in my mind forever.”

Olinka wanted other young people to see BEAUTY IN THE BRICKS. She planned this event to inspire others.  Films do Change lives.
