Included in the programming are “Zoo” a little known historical narrative short by Monda Raquel Webb which drew many accolades in the USA and internationally and the Award Winning Heroes of Color Animation Series- Episodes 1 & 4 by David Heredia. Learn about the Buffalo Soldiers of West Texas with filmmaker Michael “Aku” Rodriguez; Be touched by Latasha Kennedy’s ” One Last Goodbye” – Winner of the Best Short at 2020 DBFF. Be inspired by “LiME’ and the lesson a mother teaches her son who is “different” about bullies and life. Be entertained by a well executed horror short “Patient Zero” from local filmmaker Issa Currie.

This event kicks off the Jim Austin Online Music Festival – June 19th-20th.
