Thin Line Film Fest Call for Entries

Denton, TX– Thin Line Film Fest announces the Call for Entries for the upcoming 5th annual festival held February 15-20, 2012. As Texas’ International Documentary Film Festival, Thin Line reviews all forms of documentaries regardless of topic, type, style, length, or format. A diverse selection of stories from around the world will be chosen to screen as a part of the six-day celebration of documentary films. To submit your film visit us at thinlinefilmfest.com.

There are four separate submission deadlines, each with a corresponding submission fee. Fees range from $5-$60 depending on the length of the film and when you submit. Generally, earlier submissions have a lower fee. The Early Deadline is August 31st, the Regular Deadline is September 30th, the Late Deadline is October 31st, and the Extended Deadline is November 30th. Thin Line 2011 was another big success with events such as the Texas Premiere “Troubadours,” which made its national broadcast premiere on PBS weeks after the festival. Other anticipated events included the 2010 Oscar shortlisted films, “Enemies of the People,” and “This Way of Life;” both Texas Premieres.
