Dallas Producers Association – IT CAME FROM DALLAS 10

DPA-ItCameFromDallas10

“It Came From Dallas 10”  is Dallas Producers Association’s tenth celebration of Texas filmmaking and filmmakers. Our Presenting Sponsor is Replicopy and the show will be held Thursday February 23, 2017 at Alamo Drafthouse Cinema in Richardson. The event is free to the public – though we do ask for a donation as this show is DPA’s fundraiser to support Texas Moving Image Incentive Program bringing production jobs to our area.

We have a variety of local filmmaking professionals and celebrities introducing clips from films made in DFW and across Texas throughout the years along with several “behind-the-scenes” stories about their experiences working on films, television, commercials, radio, documentary and corporate films.

Film historian Gordon K. Smith will be back with “Gordon’s Vault”,  a collection of fun trailers and clips from cult classic and lesser known films made in the Dallas area or around the state of Texas.

We’ll also present DPA’s Pioneer Award and we’ll top off the evening with a variety of wonderful raffle prizes. You won’t want to miss this show!
